Terms of Service

Last updated: April 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Hourly VPN website and service located at https://hourlyvpn.com ("Service"), operated by Sezi LLC, doing business as Hourly VPN ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service or paying for credit, a daily pass, or a weekly pass, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase, and at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK) to use the Service at all. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements, that you are not on any government sanctions list, and that you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to a U.S. embargo. The Service is available only to individuals; we do not offer team or enterprise plans.

2. Description of Service

Hourly VPN provides on-demand access to a Chromium web browser running on our infrastructure in a city you select. You connect to that browser through your own web browser; the remote browser is the only thing that runs from the chosen city. Your other apps, devices, and traffic are unaffected. There is no software to install. There is no subscription; you buy hourly credit, a daily pass, or a weekly pass.

Hourly VPN is not a traditional VPN. We do not route any of your local device’s traffic. Only what you do inside the remote browser tab is "in" the chosen city.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Engage in or facilitate any illegal activity, including fraud, hacking, or evasion of lawful sanctions
  • Send spam, phishing, or other unsolicited bulk communications
  • Run automated scrapers, bots, or load generators against third-party websites
  • Distribute or download child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Conduct high-volume torrenting or other bulk file-sharing
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, billing, or our throttle thresholds
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure, or interfere with other users’ sessions
  • Resell access to the Service or use it to build a competing product
  • Impersonate another person or otherwise misrepresent your identity in ways that cause harm
  • Violate the terms or acceptable-use policies of the websites you visit through the remote browser

We monitor outbound traffic at the hostname level (see our Privacy Policy) so we can investigate AUP reports. We may suspend or terminate your access, refuse to start a session, refund a payment, or delete your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. We may also report unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities.

4. Pricing & Payments

Pricing displayed in the workspace before checkout is the price you will be charged. All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). Payments are processed by Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide.

  • Hourly credit: sold per-dollar of credit at $0.50 per active hour of session use, billed by the minute (rounded up). Minimum top-up is $2.00. Credit expires 12 months after your most recent top-up; tops-ups extend the expiry on existing credit.
  • Daily pass: $2.49 for 24 hours of unlimited active session time from purchase, locked to one city. Speed is throttled to 3 Mbps after 10 GB of data transfer.
  • Weekly pass: $6.99 for 168 hours of unlimited active session time from purchase. You may switch cities once per day. Speed is throttled to 3 Mbps after 50 GB of data transfer.

Prices do not include sales, VAT, GST, or similar taxes unless explicitly stated. Where we are required to collect tax, it will be added at checkout. Otherwise you are responsible for any taxes due in your jurisdiction.

5. Refunds

Hourly credit is sold in bulk and consumed by the minute. Passes are sold for a fixed window. Both are final and non-refundable once purchased, except as described below or where required by applicable law.

We will refund you when:

  • We are unable to start or continue your session because of a problem on our end and cannot fix it within a reasonable time
  • You were charged in error
  • We terminate your session for an alleged AUP violation that turns out to be wrong

We do not refund expired hourly credit, expired passes, throttled bandwidth (which is a feature of the pass, not a defect), unused time on a pass that you stopped using, or sessions you ended early. We do not refund based on dissatisfaction with the experience of a remote browser (latency, occasional disconnects, the websites you visited choosing to block our IPs, and so on); the per-session experience varies by your home network and the destination site, and you can stop a session at any time.

Refund requests should be sent to support@hourlyvpn.com within 30 days of the charge. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.

6. Sessions, Suspension & Termination

Active sessions consume credit (or pass time) by the minute, rounded up at the end of each contiguous active stretch. If you close the browser tab or stop sending heartbeats, the session moves to "idle"; after a few minutes of idle time we automatically suspend the underlying container, and after a longer suspended window we destroy it. Destroyed sessions cannot be resumed; start a new session instead.

We may suspend or destroy a session at any time for AUP violations, security incidents, or essential maintenance. We may also terminate your account, in which case any remaining credit may be forfeited if the termination is for cause.

7. What the Service Is Not

  • Not a traditional VPN. We do not route your device’s native traffic.
  • Not a tool for illegal activity. See Section 3.
  • Not anonymous. We collect your email at sign-in, your IP at session start, and the hostnames the remote browser connects to. We will respond to lawful requests for this data.
  • Not a substitute for security tools. Hourly VPN is for convenience and geo-context, not for evading detection by sophisticated adversaries.
  • Not guaranteed to work with every website. Some sites detect and block traffic from datacenter IPs. We do not warrant compatibility with any specific third-party site.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep Hourly VPN available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, regional capacity issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also change pricing or these Terms; existing balance and active passes will be honored at the price in effect at the time of purchase.

9. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. Email support@hourlyvpn.com if you want your account deleted; doing so forfeits any remaining hourly credit. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Remote-browser sessions may experience latency, occasional disconnects, partial site compatibility, or audio/video glitches inherent to streaming a browser interactively over the internet.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sezi LLC and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sezi LLC and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law, (c) your violation of any third party’s terms, acceptable-use policy, or rights, or (d) any content you accessed, transmitted, or distributed through the remote browser.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always lives at hourlyvpn.com/terms. If we make material changes, we will reflect them in a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms; the Terms in effect at the time you bought a pass or topped up credit govern that purchase.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. To the extent permitted by law, you and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

15. Contact
